SCBA Hoops
Mission Statement
The South County Basketball Academy strives to be the finest youth basketball league and feeder program for the South County area. The SCBA. also serves as an important fundraiser for Morgan Hill Unified Schools extracurricular programs. The SCBA, has donated over $105,000 over the last eleven years to the Britton, Martin Murphy, Live Oak and Sobrato Basketball programs and Britton scoreboard, gym maintenance and improvements. We have created paid jobs for Morgan Hill students.
Weather Policy: If it is raining on the day of our games, with the exception of the first game of each day, the practices will be cancelled. Thus, please bring your child to their game 15 minutes before game time. The first practice of each day is always inside prior to the game.
SCBA is year-round with three basketball programs (Fall, Winter and Spring) followed by our Summer Camp for boys and girls. Our Referee program is always receiving high fan praise for their patience with the younger developing players while helping teach the more competitive minded middle and high school level players.

- Balanced teams with man-to-man defense emphasized.
- High School officials who, both call and explain fouls and violations for the player's benefit.
- Separate girls’ leagues and boys’ leagues will be offered.
