SCBA Coaches Corner

Rules Of SCBA

SCBA is an all volunteer academy. We strive to teach our coaches and our players the basic fundamentals of basketball. Our league ranges in age and therefore capability so we also work to develop age appropgriate divisions. Our referee's are teaching in the lower divisions during the game and demonstrate the important rules as they are violated. Thus a player can see exactly what went wrong and work on that point right away.

Our coaches have various backgrounds. Some have been associated with other sports and in fact many have already coached within SCBA. We constantly reinforce positive coaching technique to all our volunteers. However, from time to time, there will be situations that arise and our referee's and league officials will attempt to resolve all conflicts in a peaceful and productive manor.
